1. Who is responsible
This website is published by BestifyMe of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (“the Publisher”), the developer of the Android application known on Google Play as the 21 Day Habit Challenge App. The Publisher is the controller for the processing described in this policy. Contact details are in section 13, and the registered contact record Google verified is published in the About the developer block on the Play listing.
2. What this policy covers
This document describes what happens when you browse these pages. It does not describe what happens inside the Android application: the app runs on your device, is distributed by Google Play and has its own privacy policy. Two different documents for two different things, and conflating them would leave both inaccurate.
3. What this website collects
The site is a set of static pages. There is no account, no login, no comment box, no newsletter and no form of any kind, so there is nothing here that asks you to type personal information in. No payment is taken on this website.
3.1 Server logs
Like any web server, the hosting provider records a technical log of requests: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and the browser’s user agent string. These logs exist to serve the site, keep it available and investigate abuse and technical faults. They are not used to build a profile of a visitor and are not combined with the measurement described below.
3.2 The consent choice
When you answer the cookie banner, the answer — the single word granted or denied — is stored in your browser’s local storage so that the banner does not ask again on every page. It contains no identifier and never leaves your browser. Clearing your browser storage removes it and the banner returns.
3.3 Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement
If, and only if, you accept measurement in the banner, this site loads Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tags. They are used to understand how many people reach the site, which pages they read, and whether visitors who arrived from an advertisement went on to open the Google Play listing. For that purpose Google may set cookies and process an online identifier, the pages viewed, approximate location derived from the IP address, and device and browser characteristics.
Until you accept, no Google tag is requested at all — not in a restricted mode, not anonymously: the script is simply never loaded. Declining leaves every page fully readable and every link working.
3.4 Campaign parameters passed to Google Play
If you arrive with campaign parameters in the address (utm_source,
utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term,
utm_content), those five values are appended to the Google Play link so that an
install can be attributed to the campaign that led to it. Only those five parameters are
forwarded, they describe the advertisement rather than you, and nothing else from the address is
passed on. This happens in your browser when you click; no redirect service is involved.
3.5 What this site never does
- It does not sell personal data, and it has none to sell.
- It does not run advertising on the website itself, and there are no third-party ad networks, social widgets, chat boxes, heat-mapping tools or embedded video players on it.
- It does not attempt to identify individual visitors or link a visit to a person.
- It does not receive anything back from Google Play about who installed the app.
4. Cookies and similar storage

No cookie is strictly necessary for the site to work, which is why the banner offers a genuine refusal rather than a choice between “accept” and “accept later”.
5. Consent, and how to change it
Measurement on this site is governed by consent. The implementation follows Google’s
Consent Mode v2: on every page load all four consent signals — ad_storage,
ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage
— start as denied, and they are only updated if you accept.
To change your mind at any time, use the Cookie settings link, which is also in the footer of every page.
6. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to a visitor, the Publisher relies on:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics and advertising measurement, and for the associated storage on your device. Consent is asked for before anything is loaded and can be withdrawn at any time with the same effort it took to give.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for server logs, in keeping the site available, secure and diagnosable. The logs are technical, short-lived and not used to profile anyone.
7. Where data goes
The site is served by a third-party hosting provider, which processes the server logs described above on the Publisher’s behalf. If you accept measurement, Google processes the data described in section 3.3 as an independent controller under its own terms, and may process it outside your country, including in the United States, under the transfer mechanisms Google publishes for its own services. Declining means no data reaches Google from this website.
8. How long it is kept
- Server logs — kept for a short technical period by the hosting provider and then deleted or rotated, in line with that provider’s standard practice.
- Consent choice — stays in your browser until you clear it. The Publisher holds no copy.
- Analytics and advertising data — retained by Google under its own retention settings and policies.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. Requests go to hello@bestifyme.com.
One caveat, stated so that nobody wastes their time: this website does not hold an identifier that would let the Publisher find “your” data in it. There is no account and no profile here. In practice the two effective controls are the consent banner, which governs everything optional, and your browser’s own storage controls. Data held by the app is a separate matter, covered by its own policy; the Play data safety declaration for the app states that deletion can be requested.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
10. Children
This website is aimed at the general public and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal data from children, and it has no mechanism through which a child could submit any.
11. The app is separate, and has its own policy
The Android application is a different product with different processing, and it is covered by its own document: the app’s privacy policy, which is also linked from the Google Play listing. Nothing in the policy you are reading now describes, limits or overrides it.
Two things about the app are worth repeating here, because people reasonably arrive at this page looking for them. Both come from the Publisher’s own data safety declaration on Google Play:
- The app is declared as possibly sharing precise location with third parties, for advertising or marketing and for personalisation, and as collecting app info and performance data for analytics. That location sharing comes from the advertising side of a free app rather than from the challenges, and it is stated plainly here rather than buried because it is more than most people would expect from a daily-prompt app.
- The declaration states that data is encrypted in transit and that deletion can be requested.
The version of that declaration on the Play listing is the current and authoritative one; the summary above is provided for convenience and may lag behind a change to the app.
12. Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how visitor data is handled will be reflected in the consent banner as well, which means you will be asked again rather than silently carried over.
